Knott’s Berry Farm Closes Its Gates for Good

At dawn on November 2, 2025, Buena Park’s beloved Knott’s Berry Farm
officially shuttered after 104 years. An announcement on November 1, 2025 confirmed
that both Knott’s Berry Farm theme park and Knott’s Soak City waterpark are now fully closed,
canceling all rides, events, and dine-in operations indefinitely.

Park Status: Permanently Closed

  • Rides & Attractions: GhostRider, HangTime, Silver Bullet, Calico Mine Ride,
    Timber Mountain Log Ride, Knott’s Bear-y Tales, Sierra Sidewinder, Pony Express, Jaguar!,
    Xcelerator and MonteZOOMa are all permanently closed as of
    November 1, 2025.
  • Shows & Events: Knott’s Scary Farm ended on November 1; Knott’s Merry Farm,
    normally mid-November through December, will not operate this season.
  • Weather Impact: Southern California’s mild early-November weather
    (highs near 75°F) no longer affects operations since the park is closed.
  • Tickets & Refunds: Guests holding tickets can request a full refund or
    convert to a 2026 date via knotts.com/refunds through December 31, 2025.

Knott’s Soak City: Off-Season and Closed

  • Seasonal Operation: Soak City’s 2025 season ended on
    September 14. It remains closed for the off-season with no
    reopening dates announced.

Although the parks have closed, the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel remains open,
